Ocean Climate Action: a collaboration between Parley and Green School Bali

Parley and Green School Bali have joined forces to protect the oceans through education with a common belief: the future of our planet depends on educating and challenging everyone in becoming creative change-makers.

Ocean Climate Action is a three-part series where participants learn about the importance of the oceans in all life on Earth and develop skills that define their respective roles as Ocean Guardians. Oceans Climate Action I identifies why the oceans are important to the planet’s health and our own, how it influences climate change, and explores three key contributors putting the oceans and its ecosystem at risk. Through videos, readings, and reflecting in your journal, you’ll develop your own connection to the oceans and identify the role you can play in protecting them. We all have the power to drive change, and you’ll get ideas and tools on how you, as an individual, part of a community, can take action.

Meet the Green School

The Green School is a global movement in education with the mission to create a global community of learners, making the world a more sustainable place. With current schools in Bali, New Zealand and South Africa, its ‘living’ curriculum educates for sustainability through community-integrated and entrepreneurial learning. A new model of education that nurtures the whole child, giving them agency in their own lives and learning, so they can thrive with purpose. / www.greenschool.org
